Cut-back & substrate prep
Failed render cut back well beyond the visible edge to fully sound, well-keyed substrate. Edges feathered or stepped to give the patch a mechanical tie. Brick or block behind cleaned, repaired and primed as needed.

Mesh-reinforced basecoat
Polymer-modified basecoat applied at correct thickness with alkali-resistant glass-fibre mesh embedded across the full patch and beyond the edge into the existing render - this is what prevents the cracking returning at the join.

Texture matching & topcoat
Topcoat colour matched on a small test panel against the existing wall (often under the original section as well as freshly weathered sections - sun-bleached and original tones often differ). Texture worked to match grain size, finish style and edge-blend.

Will the cracks come back?

Mesh-reinforced patches don't reopen at the patch edge - that's what the mesh is for. If the underlying structural movement causing the original crack is still there (subsidence, missing lintel, etc.) we'll flag it before quoting, so you fix the cause rather than chase symptoms.
Can you match my render colour exactly?

Yes - we sample on a small test panel against the existing wall before committing the topcoat. Note that weathered colour and freshly-applied colour rarely match perfectly, so we often suggest a light silicone water-repellent wash across the whole elevation to even tone.
Is render repair worth it, or should I just re-render?

Depends what percentage of the elevation has failed. Under 25% failure - repair is almost always more cost-effective. Over 50% failure - full re-render usually makes more sense both financially and visually. Between those, we'll talk you through the trade-off honestly.
